Hi I been a victim of dyfs since 2004 on 02/04/08 the case came to a final turn when Judge Sween from Bergen County Superior Court terminated my rights.I had two trial days 01/7/08 and 01/14/08.On 01/7/08 my public defender spoke to me outside the court room.He told me that we were losing that Judge Sween terminates every parents rights no matter what.The attorney asked me if I want to appeal the case.I sign the papaer he said he'll sent it to the parental representaion office.Its funny how I signed an appeal paper even before the trail began.I asked the attorney why would the judge do that.How about everything I accomplish and all the services I comply with.How about the fact that I have income and housing for my daughter.The attorney response was Judge Sween wont care his concerns will be terminating your rights.My daughter's father was not good for the case.He had his own public defender.My daughter's father has a jacket and drug conviction.His attorney advice his that Ill have a better shot on getting the baby back only if im trialed alone.So his attorney convinced his to voluntarily surrender to his rights.So on 01/07/08 before the trail began my daughter's father surrender to his rights.My attorney asked the judge do to the fact the father surrender if he could exclude anything in the case that had to do with my daughter's father.The Dyfs attorney and the law guardian got up right away and spoke to the judge asking him that he cant exclude the father's side because without the father's side there was no case.So the judge looked at my attorney and he said that he'll allow my daughter's father record and side of the case to be trailed too.I was like that wrong you cant discuss the affair of someone unless they're present at trail.My daughter's father wasnt trailed he surrender.I was the only one on trail.The moral to the story is that terminating my rights was wrong.I did what I had to do and even the judge himself admitted to Dyfs wrong behavior towards me.I wa
